“Education for Integration — Partnership for Refugees” (EDI) Project
The “Education for Integration — Partnership for Refugees” (EDI) project was worked out by Jagiellonian University Human Rights Centre and accepted for funding under EQUAL Community Initiative Programme in Poland. The project is financed under European Social Fund.

The EDI project will be carried out within “i” theme: “Socio-economic integration of asylum seekers”. The main objective of the innovative project is based on a pre-integration model and it aims at providing asylum seekers with information and skills necessary to start an independent existence and facilitate their integration into Polish society. Asylum seekers will be active participants in the EDI project, contributing to its shape and contents.
To achieve these goals, several institutions and organizations decided to join their experience and knowledge in a Partnership. The Partnership’s purpose will also have a European dimension through a Transnational Partnership.
